Double Dutch Aerobics is a high-energy, joy-filled fitness program rooted in the classic art of Double Dutch jump rope and intentionally designed for schools around the world. This 60-minute, eight-step formatted class combines cardio, coordination, strength, rhythm, and teamwork by performing exercises inside the Double Dutch ropes. Every class is led by a certified Double Dutch Aerobics instructor, and no prior experience is required—our instructors are expertly trained to teach anyone how to jump Double Dutch in less than one minute, guaranteed. To date, we have taught over 100,000 children and adults how to jump successfully, building instant confidence and momentum. In a school setting, Double Dutch Aerobics delivers far more than physical fitness—it promotes joy, movement, teamwork, focus, self-belief, and community. Students learn powerful life lessons through the ropes: how to face fear, take a chance, trust the process, and jump in. Meet Sean & Michelle Clark


Double Dutch Aerobics is owned and led by Sean & Michelle Clark, a happily married couple, parents of three, and pioneers in the world of Double Dutch fitness. Michelle is a World Champion in Double Dutch , and Sean is a Master Double Dutch Aerobics instructor. Together, they created the first-ever fitness program and studio in the world where exercises are performed inside the Double Dutch ropes. Founded over 13 years ago in Brooklyn, New York and later expanded to Atlanta, Georgia, Double Dutch Aerobics was built on love, joy, and movement.
The Clarks have done 30+ city tours, and developed an 18-hour, three-day instructor certification to safely and effectively bring Double Dutch Aerobics to schools and communities worldwide. Their work has been featured on national television and news outlets, but their greatest passion is empowering students through fitness, teamwork, confidence, and the life lesson at the heart of Double Dutch: take a chance, trust yourself, and jump in.
